Today was a course overview in all my classes. As a Wednesday, it was shorter periods, so the time was filled with going over handouts. It seemed dry, and I made the mistake of saying that to my 7th hour. Ms. Hogue pointed out to me that I should never suggest that something isn’t fun out loud to the class, even though we may know that it probably isn’t. She also helped me when I ran out of stuff to talk about 2nd hour with English 11. We made a list of genres on the board, since that is one of the course outcomes – to study different genres. I used the same trick 7th hour and it went over well.
