Just this week, the wonderful maintenance staff installed a smart board and mounted projector in one of the rooms I teach in. This is great, because I’m ready to jump in and use it, and did – the first day it was up. I am a visual learner and a lot of my students are too, so now we have an added tool to help us learn in the classroom. This is also the room in which I teach my writing class, so it will be a great tool for lots of learning in that course. I’ll post later about a lesson we did on locating memorable language and adding it to our writing. For now, “YES for new technology tools!”
